At the very heart of Texas, we are responding to the call of Joel 2—to return to the Lord with all our hearts. On Saturday, September 6, believers will gather in Brady, Texas, for a solemn assembly of worship, prayer, and repentance. This is a call for pastors, intercessors, families, worshipers, and leaders to lay everything down before the Lord and seek His face in unity.

This is not just another event. It is a holy invitation to rebuild the altar of the Lord, to turn from our distractions, and to stand in the gap for our cities and our nation.

The day will be structured around three movements that reflect our journey of returning:

As we look ahead to the Come to the Altar gathering in Brady, Texas on September 6, we sense the Lord inviting us to prepare our hearts in a deeper way. For the next seven weeks, we’re shifting our regular Thursday 7 AM (CST) United Cry prayer call to a Zoom format as we step into a focused time of intercession.

Here’s How We’re Preparing Together:

  • Weekly Zoom Prayer Calls:​​

  • Beginning Thursday, July 24 at 7 AM (CST), we’ll gather each week on Zoom for seven weeks. These calls will be a space of unified prayer and preparation leading up to the gathering. We know many of you are already contending in your own rhythms of prayer, and we would be honored for you to join us during this time of focused intercession for the gathering in Brady.

  • 21-Day Fast: August 17–September 6

    • ​We are inviting everyone into a 21-day fast—a time to consecrate ourselves before the Lord. Daily prayer points will be shared to help guide us in focused intercession during this sacred window.

    • Please help us invite others across your churches, communities, and regions. We believe God is calling a remnant to gather—those with tender hearts, hungry for His presence, and ready to stand in the gap.
